Sensormatic Solutions and DOUGLAS collaborate to implement loss prevention solutions to combat theft and shrink

NEUHAUSEN, Switzerland, Sept. 04, 2024 - Sensormatic Solutions, the leading global retail solutions portfolio of Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), today announced a collaboration with DOUGLAS, the leading omnichannel premium beauty destination in Europe, after a complete rollout of loss prevention (LP) solutions in more than 301 stores across Germany. This implementation followed a successful electronic article surveillance (EAS) pilot program which used Sensormatic Solutions Synergy system and labels to help combat shrink, loss and inventory fluctuations, as well as improve operational efficiencies. Some pilot locations also leveraged Sensormatic Solutions Shrink Management as a Service (SMaaS) offering, which is designed for superior device management and predictive analytics that help reduce shrink, increase sales and optimize staffing.

Since the initiation of the collaboration, Sensormatic Solutions has helped DOUGLAS reduce shrink, and is also offering DOUGLAS intensive training and support to help ensure the best utilization of the system.
