Federico Steegmann
Executive Legal Director
Federico Steegmann serves as Executive Legal Director, responsible for the legal advice to all areas of the business and assisting in strategic planning initiatives that support our ongoing innovation and industry-leading solutions.
He joined the company in 2009 and has held several key positions in Johnson Controls, such as Chief Counsel for the Global Fire Suppression business and most recently as Executive Legal Director SE, Global Products and Sustainability Europe. He has been impactful in his various roles, completing strategic transactions and driving both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
Federico holds a Law Degree from the University of the Illes Balears (Spain), a Master of Laws from Northwestern University and is admitted to practice both in Illinois and Spain.
