Rich Campero

Rich Campero serves as Vice President of Engineering for Sensormatic Solutions where he is responsible for the company's Software as a Service development, IoT Hardware and Firmware development and the Value Management organizations.

Prior to joining Sensormatic Solutions, Rich was CTO and co-founder of Vue Technology which was a startup company and leading provider of item-level RFID infrastructure that delivered measurable value through improved inventory visibility for clients in Apparel, Footwear, Books, Media & Entertainment and Pharmacy verticals. Vue Technology was acquired by Sensormatic Solutions in 2008. After the acquisition, Rich was a Distinguished Fellow at JCI working with various Engineering and Architecture groups across the organization and re-joined Sensormatic Solutions in 2024.

Rich has a bachelor's degree with honors in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
